Cabin

This weekend Mom, Dad & I took our first trip this year to Oma & Grandpa's cabin!  I've only been there on other time when I was itty bitty, so I don't remember much of it.  But I can tell you this...it's such a fun place!

I rode in my 'Big Girl' car seat in Daddy's car on the way there.  It is so comfy & I also had my Monkeys to keep me company.

We got there pretty late on Friday & I had to get ready for bed right away.  Though I did have a few spare moment to practice my crawling skills.  I still only go backwards.

Saturday was full of fun.  I decided I would celebrate the fabulous time I was having by showing of something new...clapping!

That afternoon, Oma & Daddy went to lunch, so Grandpa & Mommy thought we should go outside for a walk.  I was so excited when i saw that I didn't have to ride in a stroller, but in a wagon instead!  Grandpa said he bought it a few years ago just waiting for a moment like this...

I loved the wagon!  Even though it's May and was pretty hot last week (in the 80s!) it was very cold outside.  Grandpa was nice enough to let me borrow a hat.  Of course it was Hunter Orange...we were in Wisconsin after all!

Saturday night was bath night, but Mom & Dad didn't bring my duck tub.  I thought maybe they wanted me to be smelly...until Oma showed me that her sink made a perfect tub!

I loved splashing in the bubble & playing with the water from the faucet.

Almost as much as I loved the hairdo that Oma gave me after I was done!

I had such a fun time at the cabin in Cumberland.  I'm so excited to go back again & see what else there is to do!

Mommy

Happy Mother's Day to my Mommy!!

Art

This week is Teacher Appreciation Week.  To celebrate, my school is having "Spirit Week."  Each day we have a different theme to dress like & a different present to bring to our teachers to tell them how much we appreciate them.
Tomorrow, we are supposed to bring in a picture that we made, so tonight Mom & Dad helped me paint a picture for each of my 2 teachers!

Painting was amazing.  Mom put some paint on the paper & put them in a plastic bag so I was able to finger paint without making a mess...how cool is that??

I'm pretty sure these works of art will be worth a lot of money some day when I become a famous artist.

Zoo

Friday was a beautiful day, so my friend Liam & I decided that it would be a perfect day to go to the Zoo with our Moms.  It is probably my new favorite place...I even convinced Mom to get a membership so we can go back as much as we want!

I saw a lot of new animals.  Here are a few of my favorites:

While we were there we saw some of my other friends (Reese, Graham & Hugh) & their Moms.  It was so fun to introduce Liam to them.  Here we all are hanging out in the sun. 

I can't wait to go back to the Zoo soon.  Maybe next time I will wear my new outfit & hang out in the Monkey exhibit...

Monkey

I love to cuddle with Mom & Dad, obviously.  But there is someone else out there that I love to cuddle with even more...MR MONKEY!  Santa brought him for me in my stocking this year.
At first I wasn't too sure about him...

But I quickly warmed up to him once I realized how soft & cuddly he was.

Since then, Monkey has been my best friend.  He has helped me through shots, plane rides, sleeping alone in my room (thanks a lot for that one mom & dad!), hanging in my car-seat & gone just about everywhere with me.

I love my Monkey! :)

Easter

My first Easter was fabulous!  I woke up a lot the night before because I was SO excited to see if the Easter Bunny came.  He did!!  And he brought me a fun basket full of presents!

And a new Disney movie!  How did the Bunny know that I would love all of this stuff so much?  He must be one smart rabbit.

After a quick nap, friends started coming over for Easter Brunch.  Mom & Dad host brunch every year & they make a lot of yummy smelling food.  My friend Henry & his parents were the first to arrive.  I think our moms planned that so they could make us have an Easter photoshoot.  But we did look very cute in our coordinating madras outfits!

I'm loving all of my first holidays...but I can't wait until next Easter.  Mom said that the Bunny will leave eggs around the house for me to find.  That sounds like such a fun game!
